I was inspired to write this book specifically about using dragon fruit to address mental health. I have grown a harmonious relationship with this fruit. As I began my mental health journey, there was a lot of confusion. A lot of things that were going on in my body that I could not understand. Although, I was experiencing so much. I knew that I did not want to take medication to heal what I was currently going through. I felt like that was the easy way out. I would watch YouTube video, after YouTube video. Read article, after article. Until I finally came across this article, talking about magnesium, and how magnesium can help with mental health. What I want readers to learn from this book is how I ate dragon fruit on a daily basis, to overcome chronic depression and anxiety. There are guides in this book where I explain mindfulness and meditation, and how imperative they are for supporting your mental health journey as well. I do cover some scientific facts, I don’t necessarily want to specifically tell you how to run your life to recover from this dark chaos that we have in our minds. There are manuals for you to be able to organize your life especially if you are a person like me that has a pretty tight schedule. I want the world to experience freeness like I did, and it all came from one fruit. My health claims were actually validated by Women’s Health Magazine when the Pink Sauce initially launched. I mentioned in an interview that my relationship with dragon fruit was way more than just a sauce or a color. It helped me with my mental health. Which was absolutely true. I begin consuming this fruit every day, and I don’t experience the bodily feelings of anxiety or depression. Although, I still have to put in a constant effort to ensure that I am acknowledging how I feel each day of my life to control my reaction to the outside world. When the article came out for women’s magazine, I got to thinking with the experience that I’ve had with dragon fruit. How can it help people all around the world? I mean, if I consume this fruit every day, and it relieved me of some harsh symptoms. How many other people can it help to relieve as well. Me specifically I suffered with panic attacks and nighttime anxiety. Those were the symptoms that dragon fruit helped me with drastically. What set dragon fruit apart from all other natural remedies for a mental health for me is that dragon fruit it is filled with magnesium. Magnesium plays a key role in many of our bodies biochemical process. Including mental health. Neuro transmitters like dopamine and serotonin are essential for regulating mood, and if they are imbalance they can contribute to conditions like anxiety or depression. Magnesium also helps to transport potassium across cell membranes, which is also vital to nerve function, muscle contraction and maintaining a healthy heart rhythm. I was thinking that I was suffering from high blood pressure but really, I truly believe that my body just lacked magnesium. See people thought I was so perfect on the outside, not knowing that I was suffering from panic attacks and going to the hospital once to twice a week. It was a silent battle that I was fighting until I just had enough. I have enter twine, my passion for cooking along with my passion for helping people. In this book I include recipes and also Pink Sauce recipes that can help you to incorporate dragon fruit into your daily diet. I have took an immense amount of time in research to prepare this book for you all. Mental freeness is something that we work towards daily to better progress ourselves as humans. I am an Aquarius and also and humanitarian, and I hope that this book is a significant contribution to the world today. That you take the things that I learned and create your own oasis from it.
